Piquepoul

Piquepoul noir is a red wine grape that is grown primarily in the Rhone Valley and Languedoc. It is one of the oldest domestic grape varieties in the region. Like the related Piquepoul gris and Piquepoul blanc the vine tends to bud late and has some sensitivity to oidium. The grape is also known as Picpoul.
